Commissions

I take on a small number of commissions: hardware for a home, a blade, a piece for a reenactor's kit, something you have not seen anywhere else. Bring me the heart of the idea, and I will design the rest.

A few things to know before you write:

• Commissions begin with a conversation and a deposit.
• Work that depends on tight measurements or fixed specifications is usually not a fit. I value creative freedom, and the best pieces come from it.
• Lead times vary with the season and what is already on the anvil.
